Leadership Groups
Overview
The Institute offers a series of leadership development programs for emerging and developing leaders using a small group format. Our leadership programming goes beyond refining the many important leadership skills by exposing you to a character-driven, values-based leadership framework known as Inside First™. These groups evolve on a continuum that moves from the basics to more complex leadership engagement. The primary benefit of these programs is learning to integrate your head – your intellect, with your heart – a meaningful purpose. There is real power in a small group – come experience it firsthand. Learn, collaborate and grow with a group of your peers.
The four levels outlined below provide membership into our Leaders Network with graduated benefits, as well as time and financial commitments.
“Leadership is a journey, not a destination. It is a marathon, not a sprint.
It is a process, not an outcome.”
John Donahoe

RoundTable Of Leaders

RoundTables bring together a small group of non-competing executives who are leaders in their organization. While they learn and grow together, members act as trusted advisers on the challenges of being a leader. Members help one another by applying the proverb that declares “iron sharpens iron.”
Foundations of Leadership
Building Leadership Capacity
This comprehensive program, focused on the most essential leadership principles and practices drawn from numerous leadership experts, will advance you to a more thoughtful and productive level. The program starts with a two-day retreat that will encourage you and hopefully launch you on a life-long learning journey. Foundations groups are facilitated by a mentor who is willing to share his or her lessons learned.
Peer Advisory Groups
These group sessions are designed to help you progress as a leader and expand your thinking by allowing you to serve as an advisor within a group. The sessions are led by a member of the Institute’s Adjunct Faculty. Peer Advisors work together for one year
Applied Leadership Series
You will find these workshops to be hands-on and highly practical for your work environment. Our goal is for you to apply what you’ve learned the very next day. This series is led by a member of the Institute’s Adjunct Faculty and is scheduled in 3 and 6 month increments, featuring a new topic each month.
