Our Vision
In 2017, we are helping thousands of people take responsibility for their lives, their organizations, and their communities. Our work has resulted in the growth of individuals, teams and many businesses in the Eagle River Valley and beyond. We are recognized throughout Colorado and among leadership experts for cultivating a new kind of leader who integrates head and heart. The people involved with the Institute, including a focused, passionate staff and a cadre of mentors and entrepreneurs, are helping us to consistently achieve our goals.
In 2020, the community is a vibrant, learning-oriented place with a campus of extraordinary settings, both built and natural, with people growing through a variety of experiences and methods. The Institute serves to connect people, ideas, programs and our natural environment. The community benefits from our network of people who are inspired stewards of their organizations and families. And they facilitate rejuvenation recognizing that recreation also includes the “re-creation” of one’s spirit. Our influence has evolved beyond Vail to many communities through affiliates that embrace our Inside First leadership philosophy. And we have achieved financial sustainability through our entrepreneurial programming.
In 2025, we have spawned the creation of the University of Vail a unique collection of leadership-oriented institutes, centers or programs brought together for advanced learning.
